It’s no secret that I am a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan and especially of the Snack Credit! It allows me to say YES to the treats my kids ask for. That’s such a wonderful feeling of being on vacation, relaxing the rules, and living spontaneously!
When I talk about my favorite uses of the snack credit (seriously, do NOT use it to buy bottled water – ship that to your resort and get 6 bottles for the price of 1 in the parks), I tend to mention the sweet treats. However, if you don’t have a sweet tooth, or would just like something else, let’s look at the savory items you can get with a snack credit.
Magic Kingdom
- Liberty Square Market has fruits, chips, giant pickles and yogurt
- Sleepy Hollow Refreshments – Mickey Waffle or Funnel Cake (hold the powdered sugar), Iced Coffee
- Gaston’s Tavern – Apple Slices with Caramel Sauce, Mixed Vegetable Cup with Dip, Hummus and Chips
- Casey’s Corner – Loaded Fries with either Chili-Cheese, Macaroni & Cheese, and Bacon or a Monthly Special such as French Fries topped with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Caramelized Onions, Cheddar, Bacon, Scallion Sour Cream Drizzle and Green Onions! YUM!
Epcot
If you will be visiting during any of Epcot’s seasonal Festivals (Festival of the Arts, Flower & Garden Festival, Food & Wine Festival or Festival of the Holidays) In my Humble Opinion, as many snack credits as possible should be used for the Festival!!
- Sunshine Seasons – Carrot and Celery Sticks with Hummus, Caprese Salad, Fruit and Cheese Plate, Odwalla Super Protein Bar, Tomato Cucumber Salad, Side Salad, Soup of the Day,
- Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie – Croissant Plain, Croissant Jambon Fromage, Pumpkin Soup in Bread Bowl, Lobster Bisque, Cheese Plate, Tomatoes, Olives & Guyere Cheese plate, Quiche Lorraine (this place is heavenly)
- Kabuki Cafe – California Roll (4 pieces), Spicy Roll, Nigiri Combo, Edamame
Hollywood Studios
- Ronto Roasters in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge (SWGE) – Nuna Turkey Jerky
- Kat Saka’s Kettle – Outpost Popcorn Mix
